Playa Flamenca

Playa Flamenca Spain - In the true sense of the word, Playa Flamenca on the Orihuela Costa, Spain could not be called a typical Spanish village, in fact up until 1972 it was just a piece of barren but beautiful coastline.

In the early 1970’s a group of Flemish investors decided to develop the area and thanks to them Playa Flamenca has grown into the popular resort that it is today.

Playa Flamenca today, is one of the most desirable locations along this stretch of the coast and the recently refurbished beach area and walkway are a joy to behold, additional work being done further along the coast will give a huge boost to the area. The planned cliff walk will eventually run all the way from Campoamor to the busy town of Torrevieja, taking in the fabulous resorts of Cabo Roig, La Zenia and Punta Prima along the way.
